I.T.P.'s empty cartridge collection scheme in aid of The Born Free Foundation

I.T.P. is proud to support The Born Free Foundation.

The Born Free Foundation was founded in 1984 and takes its name and inspiration from the feature classic wildlife film 'Born Free'. Born Free works throughout the world to alleviate animal suffering, investigate cruelty and to protect threatened species.

Born Free has many ongoing projects ranging from rescuing lions and tigers from lives of misery, providing sanctuary for orphaned chimpanzees and helping to protect the Eastern Lowland Gorillas from becoming extinct.

Recent Born Free documentaries presented by Martin Clunes have helped raise the awareness of the plight of the world's wildlife and given a great insight into the tremendous work that The Born Free Foundation does. The Born Free award winning website www.bornfree.org.uk gives more information about all its activities.

With your help, by donating your empty toner and inkjet cartridges, we can help The Born Free Foundation work towards offering animals a better life and brighter future.

Every year, some 500,000,000 used toner and inkjet cartridges are sent to landfill. I.T.P. have for almost a decade been Europe’s no.1 collector of these empty cartridges, saving millions from ending up in landfill.

As a registered waste carrier and with a committed environmental policy, I.T.P., in aid of The Born Free Foundation, offer a toner cartridge collection scheme that has no negatives!

I.T.P. will collect your used toner and inkjet cartridges for free providing there is a minimum of ten cartridges and give valuable funds to the Charity for these cartridges, a sum already guaranteed to be no less than three thousand pounds this year – simple!

In 2001, I.T.P paid over £100,000 to charitable causes for empty toner and inkjet cartridges. You too can be part of this success and help not only the sick children but also the environment.

So how does it work?

  1. You can register onto the scheme by filling out the registration form online. Alternatively you can print out this introduction and a registration form or have it emailed to you..
  2. Once your completed registration form has been received you will be emailed or faxed back a unique collection reference code. Please keep this in a safe place, as you will be asked for this collection reference code every time that you contact I.T.P. You will also be sent by post an information poster and a reference card confirming your details. You can print additional personalised information posters from this site.
  3. When you have 10 or more empty cartridges ready for collection, contact the empty cartridges collection department quoting your collection reference code and the number of cartridges you have and they will be collected from you for free of charge within a few days. You can contact the collections department by telephone on the collections hotline 0845 100 0004 (local rate call), fax 0118 943 9001, email bornfree@itp-group.com or online at http://www.itp-empties.com/collect.html.
  4. Once your cartridges have been collected you will be sent a certificate confirming your donation.

Please note I.T.P. collect either using their own drivers or a courier. It is helpful if you can keep the cartridges in their original boxes where possible so as to ensure they do not get damaged in transit. If you have any special requirements please note them on your registration form.
