I.T.P.'s empty cartridge collection scheme in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

I.T.P. is proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Every year, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital cares for more than 22,000 inpatients and 76,000 outpatients. Children are referred to the Hospital from all over the world with the rarest, most complex and often life threatening illnesses.

Since it first opened in 1852, the Hospital has relied on public support to provide the best care possible for its patients. Funds are continuously needed to extend this pioneering research, buy the best in new equipment and provide family support services.

With your help, by donating your empty toner and inkjet cartridges, I.T.P. can help the Hospital work towards offering seriously ill children the hope of a healthier future.

Every year, some 500,000,000 used toner and inkjet cartridges are sent to landfill. I.T.P. have for almost a decade been Europe’s no.1 collector of these empty cartridges, saving millions from ending up in landfill.

As a registered waste carrier and with a committed environmental policy, I.T.P., in aid of the Charity, offer a toner cartridge collection scheme that has no negatives!

I.T.P. will collect your used toner and inkjet cartridges for free providing there is a minimum of ten cartridges and give valuable funds to the Charity for these cartridges, a sum already guaranteed to be no less than three thousand pounds this year – simple!

In 2001, I.T.P paid over £100,000 to charitable causes for empty toner and inkjet cartridges. You too can be part of this success and help not only the sick children but also the environment.

So how does it work?

  1. You can register onto the scheme by filling out the registration form online. Alternatively you can print out this introduction and a registration form or have it emailed to you..
  2. Once your completed registration form has been received you will be emailed or faxed back a unique collection reference code. Please keep this in a safe place, as you will be asked for this collection reference code every time that you contact I.T.P. You will also be sent by post an information poster and a reference card confirming your details. You can print additional personalised information posters from this site.
  3. When you have 10 or more empty cartridges ready for collection, contact the empty cartridges collection department quoting your collection reference code and the number of cartridges you have and they will be collected from you for free of charge within a few days. You can contact the collections department by telephone on the collections hotline 0845 100 0004 (local rate call), fax 0118 943 9001, email gosh@itp-group.com or online at http://www.itp-empties.com/collect.html.
  4. Once your cartridges have been collected you will be sent a certificate confirming your donation.

Please note I.T.P. collect either using their own drivers or a courier. It is helpful if you can keep the cartridges in their original boxes where possible so as to ensure they do not get damaged in transit. If you have any special requirements please note them on your registration form.
