About Jeans for Genes:
Jeans for Genes is a national charity which raises money to fund care and support for children and families affected by genetic disorders, many of which can seriously affect a child’s life. It also funds vital research into the causes and potential cures of these conditions.
In the UK, one baby in every 33 - the equivalent of one in every class of schoolchildren - is born with a genetic disorder. Many of disorders have no treatment available and more than half of all childhood deaths in the UK are link to a genetic condition.
Taking part in Jeans for Genes Day means we could all make a real difference to children’s lives so please support them if you can.
