Donate your used printer cartridges and mobile phones

I.T.P.’s charitable collection program enables I.T.P. to collect your cartridges and mobiles free of charge as long as you have a minimum of fifteen cartridges of value value or just four inkjets if using our Freepost return service. This means that not only do you dispose of your often bulky “waste” free of charge, but that the charities and the environment benefits too. How much better can it get!

Currently I.T.P.’s supported charities are:

  • The Born Free Foundation.
  • Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

As a registered waste carrier and with a committed environmental policy, I.T.P., in aid of these charities, offers a cartridge and phone collection scheme that has no negatives!

Join in and start helping

To join the charity collection program please complete the online registration form or if you would rather receive an information pack and registration form by email please email charity@itp-group.com and one will be sent by return. If you have just a few inkjet cartridges or mobiles to return you can send these via our Freepost return service without having to register.

To view a list of the various cartridges that will help the charities please view the beneficial list which is updated monthly. As long as you have a minimum of 15 cartridges of benefit from the list, you can then also send any of the other listed cartridges with them free of charge, thereby helping you to dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way, and ensuring your own Duty Of Care compliance.

Booking a collection

Once you have registered onto the scheme, you can book your collections online, by email to collections@itp-group.com or on I.T.P.’s direct charity collections hotline 0845 100 0004 (local rate).

Once your cartridges have been collected you will be sent a certificate of support thanking you for helping the charities and a waste transfer note for your records.

Reuse not Recycling!

Please note that the cartridges have most value to the charities for reuse rather than recycling so please pack them carefully. More information on how to pack your cartridges can be found in the packing suggestions section.

About I.T.P.

Over the last few years I.T.P. have paid several hundred thousand pounds to various charitable organisations simply by collecting used printer cartridges and mobile phones. These schemes all involve minimum effort by the donors but do give incredible help to the worthwhile charities and schools that I.T.P. supports.

Every year, some 500,000,000 used toner and inkjet cartridges are sent to landfill. I.T.P. have since 1992 been Europe’s no.1 collector of these empty cartridges, saving millions from ending up in landfill and at the same time financially supporting many worthwhile causes.
