Environmental Management System
As a green business I.T.P. is committed to doing all it can to minimise the impact that it has on the environment.
At the heart of this minimisation process is I.T.P.’s Environmental Management System (EMS).
I.T.P.’s EMS:
- Serves as a tool to improve environmental performance.
- Provides a systematic way of managing its environmental affairs.
- Is the aspect of I.T.P.’s overall management structure that addresses immediate and long-term impacts of its products, services and processes on the environment.
- Gives order and consistency to address environmental concerns through the allocation of resources, assignment of responsibility and ongoing evaluation of practices, procedures and processes.
- Focuses on continual improvement of its environmental impact.
ISO 14001
As pat of I.T.P.’s EMS, I.T.P. has also gone through the tough environmental audit process by a UKAS accredited certification body to become an ISO14001:2004 certified business.
